WHAT IS THE YOUTH ARTS CONTEST?
The Tobacco Control Project will be conducting two art contests, one in Fall of the 2019/2020 school year and another in Spring of the 2019/2020 school year. These contest will offer youth an opportunity to express how tobacco has affected their communities and impacted their lives.
At least 40 youth and young adults will be recruited for the contest. The art contests categories may include, but not be limited to:
- visuals (e.g. photos, artwork, videos)
- oral expression (e.g. spoken word, music)
- written art (e.g. poetry, letters, short stories)
